About Laurie's Dance...
This blog is about my hearing loss and cochlear implant journey. I have worn hearings aids for most of my life and now have bilateral cochlear implants. The Divine Creator did give us two ears for a reason and I never dreamed that hearing sounds normally in STEREO would be possible in my lifetime. I am truly blessed to be married to the most wonderful Christian man, Steve, a proud mother to Jason, Chris, Brad, & Marissa, a mother-in-heart to Jessica, Caitlyn, & Jessica (yes, we have 2 Jessica's!), a "Meema" to Jackson, Cameron, Madelyn, Wyatt, Christian, Bennett, Ellie, Olivia, Oliver, & Hannah, honored to be a mentor, friend, & colleague to many, and humbled to be the daughter of the King.

I love black labs!! I have a hard time deciding if I like black labs, golden retrievers, Irish setters, or collies best. I thought I'd pop in to see how your kids were doing. Glad that they that I'm glad to see that your boys are doing well.

I have a "new" dog for you! Leon is not a black lab but he is a solid black German Shepherd.
The boys are doing better every day. . .still hurting but better. . .time is a great healer.
